Classic Fried Rice

  • 1 tablespoon Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dynasty Oyster Flavored Sauce
  • Vegetable oil cooking spray
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 green onions & tops, thinly sliced
  • 1 small carrot, coarsely grated (1/2 cup)
  • 3/4 cup frozen peas, thawed & drained
  • 1/2 cup diced, cooked ham (3 oz.)
  • 3 cups cooked Dynasty Jasmine Rice, cooled
  • 1 tablespoon Dynasty Sesame Oil

Combine soy and oyster sauces; set aside. Heat large frying pan, preferably nonstick, over high heat. Lightly coat inside of pan with cooking spray. Add eggs; coat bottom of pan. Reduce heat to medium; cook until set. Turn out of pan to cutting surface; dice. Lightly coat inside of same pan with additional cooking spray. Add green onions & tops, carrot, peas and ham. Cook and stir 2 minutes. Add rice, eggs and sauce mixture; cook and stir 3 minutes, or until all is heated through. Remove from heat. Mix in sesame oil. Serve immediately.

Makes 4 servings, about 1-1/4 cup each.

Per serving: 290 calories, 10.5 g protein, 7 g fat, 44 g carbohydrate, 720 mg sodium, 116.5 mg cholesterol.
